I recently moved into a new house and bought all my lighting from Seaside Shades. The whole process was smooth and enjoyable, and the team were friendly, knowledgeable and really helpful throughout.
Everything arrived perfectly packaged and the quality is excellent. There’s a beautiful range of lamp bases and fabrics to choose from, and it was easy to find styles that suited each room.

Hayley made a lovely lampshade for us to go with an unusual oak lamp. She sent colour samples to look at and then we took the lamp to her and she advised us on size and shape of the shade. We had our lamp shade a week later! Would highly recommend Seaside Shades

Wow. What a fabulous 3 hours spent with Hayley learning how to make a lampshade. The studio is gorgeous and Hayley herself so very knowledgeable with hints and tips of how to make the shade (showing her tips of what to do to achieve the totally professional finished shade) some of her tips varied from the boxed instructions but made total sense.
3 hours of instruction in a delightful studio with a very knowledgeable teacher what’s not to love.
P.s. The coffee and handmade cakes were a delight. Thank you Hayley.

I came up to Cornwall for a holiday and decided to visit this little gem of a place for a lampshade making experience.
I can not highly recommend this enough I really enjoyed the experience and was able to take my new lampshade home.

Have had 2 bespoke lampshades made recently – one ceiling shade and one table lamp shade – both beautifully crafted. Very reasonably priced and Hayley is great at communicating re your own fabric/ measurements required etc. 12 day turnaround – really thrilled!

I have bought a few things from seaside shades. The service is amazing and you can get EXACTLY what you want with no compromise , they custom build it to your specifications and chosen fabric .But all still at a better price and quality than you can find online, I spent ages searching for the lighting I wanted but here you just ask the team and they make it happen!! Also beware if you go into the showroom you will want to spend more money as they have loads of lovely bits in the shop!!!
